Product Description

In her sequel to To Ride a Silver Broomstick, Silver RavenWolf leads us to the next step in craft practice, focusing on intermediate-level magical practices, such as the proper mechanics of circle casting and 10 ways to raise power. However, To Stir a Magick Cauldron is not just a rule book, it is also a candid companion on the road to discovery. Sure, RavenWolf delves into the nitty-gritty of conjuration, but she also encourages us to see the craft as more than a dusty curiosity and reveals how to incorporate our newfound power into our 20th-century lifestyles. --Brian Patterson

I so tired...

Reviewer: Dane,
of all the nasayers negatively critiquing the work of others. If it doesnt resonate with you, fine, there is nothing wrong with saying what you disagree with but I think most of the criticism here is jealousy from pent up frustrated want-to-bes who have nothing worthwhile to contribute (on their own) so spend their time (and money) trashing the work of others. This book has effective proven magic. Maybe its not the kind of magic that speaks to you personally, that doesnt give you license to trash it.

I found this book more entertaining than helpfull. I love to read and share books of intrest with friends and family but this book is not one I would recomend to them because of fluff, some subjects of intrest are short. I have found some things to be as if "do it my way" oriented.
You'll get out of it what you put into it!

This is the second book that I've read by Ravenwolf, the first was To Ride a Silver Broomstick. I really enjoyed both of them. I guess I can see why many Wiccans would find this too comerical, or that it's written for the wrong audience. However, there is really a lot of great information and ideas in her work. I love the sections on daily devotionals, cauldron magic, and writing your own rituals. If you've read other books by her and didn't like them, it only makes sense not to read any more of them. Also, I've noticed that many of the reviewers who totally bash her seem to have set up accounts simply to do so. I've given many (imo) deserved negitive reviews to plenty of things on Amazon. I think it's really shady that some people only review one or two authors they hate. I would be willing to bet that these reviewers have read one, or less of her books, before they decided to cut and paste their reviwes on all of them.
